In the movie "Unexpected Lucky Sign," the protagonist, Fuzawa Kaze, voiced by Plapla, unexpectedly arrives from heaven but is intercepted by the somewhat noisy messenger, Plapla. He is told that God has given him, a heinous person, a chance for rebirth to experience and appreciate the true value of life. Without hesitation, he is sent back to the human world, where his soul enters the body of a ninth-grade student named Kobayashi Shin. Shin had witnessed his crush, Sawayanagi Kaori, voiced by Minami Nana, entering and leaving a love hotel with a middle-aged man three days ago. He also saw his mother, voiced by Asou Kumiko, behaving inappropriately. Feeling despair from everything in his life, he decides to commit suicide by taking poison. Upon awakening, the protagonist lives as Shin, dealing with scheming family members, annoying female classmate Utako, voiced by Miyazaki Aoi, and classmates who look at him strangely. Through this process, he seems to touch upon the meaning of survival. This film is adapted from the original work by Mori Edto.
